size: 4.25 x 2.25 x 2.25”

material: porcelain with red and orange chamotte

firing method: ^6 oxidation

This piece was made during my 2-month residency at the Yingge Ceramics Museum in Taiwan in 2025. It is part of a series of organic, closed-pod forms. The protuberant shape is meant to evoke an egg or seed from a strange and distant life form, not necessarily from an organism we’d be familiar with.
